We know that Jennifer Aniston keeps her famous bod healthy with a good dietand plenty of exercise (she makes working out a priority and does it seven days a week). But she's also revealed that she counts on a few other things, too.
Jennifer has revealed that she's ditched trendy diets in favor of eating well and in moderation (always a good move!). She says: "I stopped dieting when I figured out that you just have to eat regularly and properly within moderation. The fads are too much."
But there are two other things she counts on, too: "I think it's really about--honestly, this is going to sound silly--going in the sun for 20 minutes a day is really important, Vitamin D, because we are now having a Vitamin D deficiency because of all the SPF. And I think being happy and smiling and laughing a lot."
Studies have shown that sunshine-provided Vitamin D may help ward off cancerand help build bone and muscle strength--and even raise our serotonin levels, which increase feelings of happiness. And studies have also shown that laughter gives your body a physiological boost--its benefits are similar to those of exercise, decreasing stress levels and blood pressure while boosting the immune system (and burning some calories, too).
